Congratulations on your engagement! Planning a wedding is incredibly exciting, but it can also become really overwhelming. And at times, it’s easy to lose sight on what really matters and what you really want for your big day. I know, I’ve been there!
When a client contacts me for their wedding, the first step is for them to fill in a questionnaire (found here). This goes through the date of the wedding, the venue(s), what you’re after, what you really don’t want, colour themes, arrangements etc. And last but not least: budget. This will give me a good idea of where to start with your flowers.
From there, if the initial ideas and budget work for both parties, a face to face consultation would be arranged. I am currently looking for new premises (watch this space!) so at the moment, I would normally meet you somewhere near you over coffee to go through everything.
I find meeting face to face, or at the very least via Skype, a great thing as it means we get to know each other better. Bouncing ideas off each other, and having a look on Pinterest means that by the end, you will have a much clearer idea on what flowers can be arranged for your wedding.
After we meet, I will send you a quote for everything we discussed, with several options where applicable for example if you’re not quite sure on table centerpieces yet.
This process means that you will have everything you need in order to decide whether to book me or not.
The next step, is to pay a booking deposit to secure your wedding date. This will be 25% of the quote you accepted, with a mininum of £150, and will be offset against the final payment (due four weeks before the wedding).
I then remain available to you throughout the whole wedding planning. Whether you have queries on a particular arrangement, have forgotten a buttonhole for the groom or would like to add a last minute thank you bouquet, we can usually sort it out.
On the day of the wedding, I deliver the flowers to you personally where you are getting married, and will install the flowers at the venue too. This means all is taken care of for you, and you can relax and enjoy the big day!
As such, your consultation process with Emerald & Jade Flowers is truly unique and personal to you and your wedding.
I am based in Bristol, but I will happily travel to the surrounding areas. If you would like to check whether I would travel to your venue, please get in touch with me via email here the contact form.
